Welcome to the Lake Charles Bonsai Society.

 

LCBS Meeting Schedule

The Lake Charles Bonsai Society normally meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at McNeese State University, Frasch Hall, Lecture Hall 101 on Ryan Street in Lake Charles, LA. We welcome the merely curious as well as seasoned bonsai aficionados. For a listing of our current agenda, see the Calendar page. And here are the driving directions to our meeting location.

 

LCBS Mission Statement

  1. To create interest and inspire participation by both advanced and beginner growers of bonsai and to increase enjoyment of bonsai.

  2. To advance appreciation of bonsai through club participation in exhibits and shows.

  3. To supply and coordinate information on bonsai, including methods, sources of supplies, and experiments.

  4. To communicate with other bonsai clubs individually, and through membership in Bonsai Clubs International; to acquaint each with the activities of others, new developments of interest, and to share bonsai opportunities and experiences.
